Remote workers whose work lives online
Many of the freelancers, consultants and founders who have moved to Las Palmas depend on their online profile to find clients: LinkedIn, Instagram, a personal website, reviews on freelance platforms. A fake profile using their photos, a hacked account or a defamatory post after a dispute with a client can cost them work in several countries at once.
Hacked accounts and impersonation
When an account is stolen, it is often used straight away to scam the owner's followers or contacts. Every hour counts. We help you recover it through the platform's official channels, warn your contacts safely and report any profiles that impersonate you. We also certify what the attacker posted, in case you need to report it to the Policía Nacional.
Reviews for tourist businesses
Bars, restaurants, apartments and activity companies across Gran Canaria receive reviews all year round, in many languages. Fake reviews, reviews from competitors and reviews used as blackmail can be challenged under the platform rules. Honest criticism cannot, and in that case we help you reply to it well.
Part of the EU for your data
The Canary Islands are fully part of the European Union for data protection purposes, so the GDPR applies exactly as it does on the mainland. There is no regional data protection authority, so complaints go to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). If a case needs to go to court in Las Palmas, we work with a law firm and provide the forensic report.
Where we are
We do not have an office in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: our only office is in Tres Cantos, near Madrid, and we work remotely with the whole of Spain. Requests to platforms, search engines and authorities are made in writing, so you do not need to travel. Every case is reviewed by Javier Arenillas, an IT specialist, SEO analyst and court-appointed IT forensic expert with a master's degree in cybersecurity. More about us.
