A fake review is not an opinion: it is a problem that can be solved

A single one-star review can lower your average rating enough for a customer to choose a competitor without ever calling you. And many of these reviews break the platform's own rules: they are written by someone who was never a customer, a former employee, a competitor or someone who just wants to insult you.

Google, Tripadvisor and Trustpilot have very specific policies on what cannot be posted. Our job is to show that a review breaches them, with the right argument and evidence, and to follow the case until it is resolved.

If you run a business in Spain, such as a restaurant, holiday rental, clinic or shop, we can help you remotely and in English, wherever you live.

Which reviews can be removed

  • Fake reviews or reviews from people who were never customers (no trace of the person in your bookings, invoices or appointments).
  • Conflict of interest: competitors, former employees or people with a direct interest in harming you.
  • Offensive or discriminatory content, or insults aimed at you or your team.
  • Personal data: reviews that publish the full name, phone number or health details of an employee or a third party.
  • Content not about the experience: political complaints, copied messages, spam or reviews about another business.
  • Mass attacks (review bombing): many negative reviews within a few days after a controversy or a news story.

What we do not do

We do not remove real, honest criticism from customers who had a bad experience. Those are best answered well and offset with more genuine reviews. We tell you so from the first analysis so that you do not pay for something that will not succeed.

How we work

  1. You send us the link to your listing and tell us which reviews concern you.
  2. We analyse each review free of charge against the platform's rules and tell you which have real prospects and by which route.
  3. We prepare the report with the exact reason and the evidence required (customer records, screenshots, posting patterns).
  4. We follow up the complaint: if the platform rejects it, we appeal through its review channels and, where appropriate, through the notice mechanism of the EU Digital Services Act.
  5. We keep you informed at every step. You can see the status of each review in your client area.

And in the meantime, your rating

Removing what breaks the rules is half the job. The other half is getting your happy customers to leave their opinion. If you like, we can set up a system to get genuine reviews that breaks no rules and raises your rating steadily.

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee the review will be removed?

No, and be wary of anyone who does: the decision belongs to the platform. What we do is work only on reviews that break its rules, tell you beforehand what prospects each one has and take the report and the appeal all the way.

How long does it take for a review to be removed?

Usually between one and three weeks. Some are removed within 48 hours and others need an appeal. You can see where each one stands in your client area.

Can a negative review that is true be removed?

If the review describes a real experience and breaks no rules, no. In that case we help you reply to it well and offset it with genuine reviews from your customers.

Can the review reappear?

If the same person posts it again, it can be reported again. We set out the conditions in your quote.

Will the author of the review find out?

No. The report is handled by the platform, which does not tell the author who reported it.

Which reviews can be removed from Google?

Those that break Google's rules: fake reviews or reviews from people who were never customers, from competitors or former employees, reviews containing insults, discrimination or personal data, spam and reviews about another business. A negative but genuine and respectful review cannot be removed.

How do I report a fake review on Google step by step?

From your Business Profile, flag the review as inappropriate and choose the specific reason it breaches. Then track its status in Google's review management tool and, if it is rejected, submit an appeal with arguments and evidence. Choosing the right reason and arguing the appeal well is what makes the biggest difference to the outcome.

What if Google rejects my report of a review?

You can appeal once from the review management tool, providing more context and evidence. If the review is defamatory or contains personal data, there are also legal routes, such as Google's legal removal request form or a complaint to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

How much does it cost to remove fake reviews?

It depends on the number of reviews and the platforms. We analyse every review free of charge and tell you which have real prospects before we start, with a fixed quote in writing after the free analysis. We do not take on reviews that do not break the rules.

Can I report the reviews myself?

Yes, any owner can flag them from their Business Profile and it is free. Many reports fail because a generic reason is chosen or no context is given in the appeal. We prepare each report with the right argument and follow it through to the end.

Can reviews be removed on Tripadvisor, Trustpilot or Doctoralia?

Yes, each platform has its own rules and reporting procedure. On some, such as Trustpilot or Doctoralia, the process lets you provide documents showing that the author was not a customer. We work with all the platforms that matter in Spain.

What should I do if I suddenly receive lots of negative reviews?

This is what is known as a review attack. It needs to be documented properly and reported to the platform, because Google and other sites have measures for these cases, such as temporarily blocking new reviews. Do not reply to each one in the heat of the moment, and write to us as soon as possible.

Is it legal to post fake reviews?

No. Consumer protection rules prohibit posting or commissioning fake reviews, and platforms remove them when this is shown. If a fake review accuses you of something serious, it may also infringe your right to honour. That is why we never post fake reviews to compensate either.

Should I reply to a review before reporting it?

Yes, a polite, brief reply does not harm the report and shows other customers that you care. Avoid getting into arguments or revealing the customer's details, because that can backfire. We help you write it.
