Online reputation help for foreigners living or working in Spain

Our office is in Tres Cantos, near Madrid, and we work remotely and in English with the whole of Spain. These are the areas where we help the most foreign residents and business owners, and what we usually see in each one.

  • All of Spain
  • In English
  • Confidential
  • Legal routes only

Why you do not need an agency in your town

Getting a review removed, asking Google to apply the right to be forgotten, talking to a publication or complaining to the Spanish Data Protection Agency are all done in writing and online. What makes the difference is not being close by, but choosing the right route, arguing each request well and following it up. For foreign residents there is one more thing: understanding what is happening. We explain every step in English and deal with Spanish platforms and authorities in Spanish on your behalf.

We prefer to be clear about it: we do not have offices around the country. We have one, in Tres Cantos, and one person responsible, Javier Arenillas, an IT specialist, SEO analyst and court-appointed IT forensic expert with a master's degree in cybersecurity, who reviews every case. When a case needs to go to court, we work with a law firm. And if your case has no real options, we will tell you so before you spend anything.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in each city?

No. We have a single office, in Tres Cantos, near Madrid, and we work remotely with the rest of Spain. Almost all of this work is done in writing with platforms, search engines, publications and authorities, so there is no need to be in the same city.

Does it matter that I am not Spanish?

No. Data protection rights, the right to be forgotten and platform rules protect people regardless of nationality. If the content is published in Spain or affects you or your business here, the same routes are open to you as to a Spanish citizen.

Does anything change from one region to another?

Mainly the data protection authority when the data is held by a public body. Catalonia has the APDCAT and Andalusia its Transparency and Data Protection Council. For private companies, social networks and search engines, the competent authority is always the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

What if my case has to go to court?

We work with a law firm that handles court proceedings when they are needed. We provide the IT forensic evidence, which is prepared remotely like the rest of the work. Proceedings in Spain are in Spanish, and we help you follow them in English.

My area is not on the list. Can you still help?

Yes. These pages cover the areas with the largest international communities, but we work with clients anywhere in Spain.
